The Cross
The Cross was an instrument designed to punish, to humiliate, and ultimately to suffocate and kill. Each step in the process of death on a cross was intentional. Everything Jesus does is intentional. Isaiah saw Jesus’ death on the cross 800 years before it happened and from there we see why Jesus took upon himself the wound that He did. They were each for you and for me to have freedom here on earth and eternity in Heaven.
