Unlikely Heroes – David
In the finale of our Unlikely Heroes series, we look at the life of King David. From the small beginning of a farm boy, he became the King of Israel, a man after God’s own heart. David was a great warrior and a great political leader, but most importantly he was a man after God’s own heart.
David was considered a man after God’s own heart because:
1. In moments after sin, he turned to God.
2. In moments of fear, he trusted God.
3. In moments of hurt, he relied on God.
4. David knew that God’s longing is to know His people and dwell among them.
